Carmit Roslyn is the author of the acclaimed memoir Burnt Bread and Chutney: Growing Up Between Cultures, A Memoir of an Indian Jewish Girl (Ballantine). She has been published in various additional venues, and has taught university creative writing. Her approach to writing reflects a sensitivity to artistic storytelling and cultural nuance.
Carmit received an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College and a BA in English and Anthropology from Brandeis University. She is a member of the Association of Personal Historians.
